He was prepared for another two tiresome years of high school, but the future has other plans for him. The start of the school year brings with it the infamous Central Haven merit project. Feelings begin to blossom between the two, but their lives are soon thrown into turmoil when a series of mysterious and vicious murders send New York City hurtling into a state of paranoia and fear. This will be a somewhat slow burn, with lots of tension, eventual strangers to friends, and friends to lovers with a lot of angst thrown into the mix. Set six months the events of TFATWS. HOWEVER, THIS FIC IS NOT CANON COMPLIANT with the MCU, the comics, or anything like that despite being set in canon. I'm going to mess with things, retcon things, and play with details because it's fun.
