Lachie Lee is a skilled yet arrogant Collingwood player in the year 2042. Despite clinching the winning goal for the Magpies in the Grand Final, Lachie is abruptly traded to Freo against his will. Forced to find his way in a new team, he is challenged with learning the true meaning of teamwork, friendship, and humility. Can Lachie do it, or will his pride and bitterness be his downfall?

This is originally a fic posted on AO3 and is a companion to @nothoughtsjustvibes' fic, 2043 AFL - Friendship Edition. It's highly recommended that you read theirs too, but this also acts as a standalone story! Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/49107346

After ruthless hours of training relentlessly, she managed to achieve a higher level of volleyball and has climbed the ranks to now be one of the best high school power spikers in the nation. She had attended Shiratorizawa all her life, however after things blow up with her volleyball team at the end of her first year, she decides that she can't stay there any longer. She didn't just want to make it to nationals, that wasn't enough. She wanted to win it. So with a heavy heart, she left her home, and her brother helped her chose an acceptable new school, Inarizaki. She was going to miss her brother, his friends, and especially her volley friends. What happens when Suzume meets the infamous 'Miya Atsumu', someone just as volleyball obsessed as she is? Will they be exactly what each other needs, or worse? NOTE: This is an Atsumu x OC fanfiction. NOTE: I REVISED BEFORE YOU GO, SO THERE WILL BE SOME MISINFORMATION IN THIS ONE REGARDING LEON & ELIZA'S RELATIONSHIP. I WILL FIX IT SOON, THOUGH! * I would HIGHLY recommend reading BEFORE YOU GO and THE ONE YOU FIGHT FOR before you read this novel. This novel is a criss-cross between them and will include some major spoilers!* Leo Sangster has a bucket list tucked away safely, folded between the pages of his favourite book. And it's been there for nearly fifteen years. He hasn't tried to read it. He can't. He won't. Because that one piece of paper is a large piece of his father -- someone he's never met and never will be able to meet. But as Leo finds himself heading to Whistler, BC to explore where his father was born and who he was before he died in a car accident, he begins to wonder if that bucket list could give him any clues. Aria Madden is the daughter of the now-retired, famous NHL player, Luke Madden. Anyone would consider that a lot to live up to, but Aria is content with her current position. In January, she'll be competing in the Winter Olympics for Canada's women's hockey team. Over the summer, she's going to be training in Whistler, BC with the rest of the team, all while staying at her aunt's house. But even though it seems like she has everything under control, Aria is stuck in a whirlwind of anxiety. While she's happy and excited that her hard work has paid off, she's worried she won't live up to her father's legacy. When Leo and Aria cross paths on a fateful summer day, they're thrown into the chaos of an unforgettable summer adventure -- filled with charming and mysterious people, astounding views, and alpine air. But as the summer continues on and the heat is amped up, undeniable chemistry begins to brew between the two of them. But what happens when summer ends and they have to go their separate ways? Will they give up on the chemistry or will they find a way to make it work?

After 3 months of training and nearly six month of living together the season final start's for the four friends and things between Ashley and Nick start the escalate. Other notes - The timing of this story started in mid October 2021, Ashley, Jack and Nick are all 18ish at the time and have all finished school and exams, if there is any confusing about timing just ask. A/N - I am still not sure about the book name and am happy to take request on were you think the story should go, I am a DIE-HARD Collingwood supporter but don't know a lot about netball so i will be skimming over those parts. Thanks and i hope you people enjoy the book!! (credit to Tvdhihheeibyfds and westernbulldogslover for some of the ideas)
