Jill lost everything she ever held dear to her when her boyfriend went away to war.
Seth knows that leaving her will be hard on her so he sends her a companion to watch over her until her returns.
who knew the dog would mean so much the girl? and who knew she would do anything for the simple war pup?

I took my own Jack to the very corner park in the story and as I watched my lil girl run high speed along the road side, unimaginable fear gripped me.
what if she WAS hit? there were very few cars that ever drove by but because of that, the few that did, almost caught air coming down the hill. I know that even though the idea was a dramatic one, my reaction would be the very same as Jill's, I'm sure.
so i packed up my pup and took her home and wrote this up.
my greatest fear came to life on the paper through someone else's eyes.
