The girl with the long red hair and pale skin looked out the window, waiting.

"Your dad'll be here soon, Keira. Don't worry," the young boy sighed rather bored, waiting for the girl, Keira, to come back and play.

"I know," she sighed as well. "I just have a bad feeling is all. He's not usually working this late."

"Well, you know he has irregular hours. He's always on the clock," a soft chuckle, then, "he's Death, after all."

This story is a clash of light and dark and ultimately family, Keira is forced to look for the only person she really has all while going through not so natural situations, this story is a collaboration between @IzzyPrime21 and I.
