A real-world AU where Percy grows up in a very dysfunctional family and suffers at the hands of his stepfather Gabe. After ending up in foster care Percy is connected with his biological father and tries to assimilate into his new life. I wrote and finished this story back in 2016/2017 under the account murphy26 which I lost access to. I decided to clean up the story, republish it, and have it on an account I can actually use.
