Have you ever walked into the night and felt like someone was following you?
You suddenly stopped, and could not take a step forward or backward. Then while summoning all the courage in you, you took a breath in and looked back over your shoulder. A sign of relief at the sight of a similar face. But a question arose what was that person doing in the middle of the night?
You could not gather the strength to ask the person about it. Afraid of the answer, you could not do anything but walk much deeper into the dark of the night hand in hand with that person.

Scared yet?

Do join me in the journey of such walks into the night which results in something terrifying.

The beginning of that nightmare of sleepless nights or the end of the terrifying episode of the past.

I feel the most terrifying of all the things in this world is a human face with a mask which while showing a happy smile is harbouring something more sinister feelings inside.

It is a collection of short horror stories.

LIGHTS OUT

13 parts Ongoing

You thought your phone was broken when it read nine-forty-three in the morning while it was pitch black outside. One look at social media gave you all the information you needed to know what was happening. The sun was gone. Everywhere, in every state, city, country. Not only that, but people were making up all kinds of excuses for why it was missing. Yet, with each hour that passed, it kept worsening. People began looting in major cities, creating mobs to rush important buildings or block off busy roads. You, living in a semi-large city, could hear the sounds from afar; until those sounds turned to screaming, yelling, running. There were things out there. Things that wanted to hurt you. People that wanted to hurt you. Will daybreak ever come again? Or was this new, apocalyptic setting forever your new reality? ...And why did a masked, bloodied, man just break into your bathroom? ORIGINALLY POSTED ON QUOTEV.
