Fresh into her last semester of high school, Len is looking forward to three things: spending time with her recent close-friend-turned-girlfriend, completing a summer road trip with her brother Brendon, and finally, getting the hell out of her hometown, to an out-of-state college where she'll be able to reinvent herself as whoever she would be if her Catholic mom wasn't always breathing down her neck. But then Brendon commits suicide, leaving behind a cell phone with a series of messages meant for Len alone. To unlock the messages, and find whatever Brendon wanted her to find, Len must confront painful memories - and painful truths about herself. *DO NOT READ if you are triggered by suicide or suicidal ideation* (This is a very very very rough draft.)

Tiana Collin's life is horrible and she knows this. With an abusive father and a druggie for a mother and with absolutely no friends at school, she didn't think her life meant much. So she decided to end it. But before she ended her life, she wants to feel loved. To feel cared for. To feel. So she decides to date one of the most popular boys in school, Tyson Bent, who she knows has a bet with his best friend. A bet to get her to sleep with him. She knows he doesn't really care about her. But sometimes it's nice to pretend. After all, she's only supposed to be with him for a week. After that... well after that she's not even going to be alive. Tyson had it all, the popularity, the looks, the money, everything. And he never missed a chance to flaunt his supposed perfection. Another thing about him is that he never backs down from a dare. So when his best friend dares him to sleep with a girl named Tiana, how can he refuse? But when he reads her diary, he has another mission. A mission completely different from the dare. A mission far more important than a dare. An added bonus being the chance to finally find out who he is and not who everyone else wishes for him to be. A chance to grow into the person he could be. Gabby wants a little to look after, so she and her girlfriend Ffrances can have the joy of playing with a child. When her cousin Tess comes to stay with her for a year, it looks like a perfect opportunity. Gabby will help Tess to find a childlike headspace, and everyone will have what they want. Unfortunately, Tess is more than a little reluctant, but Gabby knows how to work around that. It might take a little more time, but she's sure that Tess will realise how happy she is to be a baby by the end of the year. --------- This book and The Last New Start tell the same story from different perspectives. Both of them will be complete stories in their own right, but reading them together might give a little more depth. I will be writing these for NaNoWriMo 2021, which means that I will attempt to post at least one chapter of one of the stories every day in November; and if I can write faster than that, then any remaining chapters will be available to all my Patreon supporters (including the $1 tier) for this month. She did not look to her older brothers for comfort, she did not look to her parents. She just sat there and sadly watched her sister and bestfriend, her twin, as she got burried in the ground. Her heart felt like there was an empty void in it, a missing-or rather-a dead piece. The sky opened up ontop of them, though non of them cared, they welcomed the rain and what it brought. For Charlotte, it meant new life. A life without her twin. Charlotte's never done anything without her sister before, but now she's going to have to. ~~ Charlotte grew up with her twin being her best friend, the one who helped her through the toughest times in her life. They had a connection that astounded people.The pain of losing someone so close, of someone who was literally like your other half, is one that no one should have to experience. But Charlotte did. Now, after her twin's death, Charlotte will not only have to live life without her twin, but learn to get close to people again. With struggles of self worth and depression, Charlotte has a hard time accepting her life as it now is. She even gains an unlikely friend but is hesitant to even let him in her life. Will this person and her family help Charlotte cope with her life as it is now? Who will save her from herself?

It can be read as a stand alone story; however, reading this before Make Them Scream will be a spoiler.
