Survival of the Fittest

Around 2 centuries ago, it was written down in the American Constitution that every citizen has the Right to Live. What it simply meant is that every born human has the privilege to live a life and has an equal share of the luxuries that mother nature has to offer.

Of course there was a loop hole. The word 'privilege' implied that if the right was exploited or misused it could be taken away, just like that. And that's precisely what they did.

After the wrath of nature, post the global warming epidemic, the nations leaders decided to revise the constitution making the Right to Live a privilege that must be earned. If the person was seen as worthy of life and if he deemed fit according to the new rules, he was allowed to live.

Till the age of 17 all teenagers are trained for the final test. The test that will decide whether they are fit for the life they were granted or deserving of death. The competition is unlike anything the 'runners' imagined. Will they survive or will they die like thousands of others. Only time will tell...... That is if they survive the game.
