Alice Brown is a 18-year-old university student who has worked tooth and nail her whole life to escape her hometown of Fishers. Despite having a rough home life she managed to get a good group of friends, and she stayed close to her brother who was also ousted for the same reason as our main character. Despite winning the battle of breaking away from her past the future has a lot in store for Alice. Heaven and Hell exist in this universe, but both are equally flawed. High-ranking angels and demons are assigned a soulmate at birth to whom they are bound for the rest of eternity. Most of the time it is other demons and angels, however, mortals are fair game for the system. Once the bond is made between the two individuals the angel or demon's strength increases twofold, and they have a chance at being the most powerful being in their realm. Alice just wants to live a life in peace, but unknowst to her, both a demon and an angel are assigned to be her soulmates. Once a pact is made with one of the two deities the other one suffers incredible anguish if not death. The only rule for the deities is that they must wait until our main character is an adult to interact at all within her lifetime and if she dies before they interact they will die as well. Now that Alice has just reached adulthood, the two beings will start fighting for her love to climb the ranks in their dimension as well as survive.
