Emily has been in the foster care system for years, eventually being separated from her sister, her only family left. When she thought she would end her senior year finally getting away from it all, a prank gone wrong ended up with her getting bit by a genetically altered spider. With these new abilities and eventually old familiar faces, will she be able to be the one and only neighborhood Mercy Web?
