Luz Noceda is an average teenager trying to get a career in music but that proves to be difficult while being in school and having such a protective mom.
But fortunately, Luz had an idea to fix everything! Her favorite artist Amity Blight was trying to form a backing band for gigs because she usually performs solo, just her guitar and a couple of song files without the vocals and lead guitar. Amity almost had the whole band together but she was missing a drummer, so Luz devised the perfect email to send to her-well not her but her team anyway. playing for her could get Luz money and enjoyment but most importantly she could meet THE Amity Blight...

One day their mother Camila showed them something. It was a place that no one had ever seen before. A place where Luz could be her usual self... a place called the 'Boiling Isles'. Lucia was pissed, she didn't want to go there but in order to keep her sister safe and grow up the way she wanted to... it was her only choice. The duo would be safe there. In a world of witches, titans, and demons, two humans were exploring the magical place. Little did the two sisters know... they would be in more of a struggle than they thought. Change - The act or instance of making or becoming different. Change in life is all Amity Blight had been wanting. Having to follow her parent's wants instead of her own. Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes. Luz Noceda goes to Hexside University, she's a freshman and barely knows how to keep up with her schoolwork. She lives with her adoptive mother Eda, and Eda's two roommates King and Hooty. Amity Blight also goes to Hexside with her brother Edric and her sister Emira. She works at a coffee shop on campus to help pay for her tuition, since she told her parents she would do it on her own. human AU where both their lesbian and bi panic catch up to them. Luz also isn't lactose intolerant. contains alcoholic beverages, smoking, and cursing. Striking a deal with the devil probably wasn't smart... When Hexside High School's newest transfer student, Luz Noceda, runs into trouble on her first day at a new school, she does the best thing she can think of; Make a bet.
