The world is full of hypocrites.
The only thing worse than losing yourself is knowing you did nothing to stop it. I was lost. Lost in the depth of this world- barely surviving. It was just that corner I held onto so that I wouldn't fall.

And when I finally began to get used to the feeling of hanging- he came and pulled me up. Pulled me out of my misery. He came and lit my world on fire, before leaving it to burn to crisps. For that I will never forgive him.

I'm about to tell you a story about a girl. A normal girl. A girl that had no cares in the world, until her trust for it was stripped away. When you read her story, you'll find yourself trusting her, loving her, rooting for her. But you see, not everyone gets to trust the world. Not everyone has a happy ending. --- Halfway through the kiss however, his attitude changed; instead of being a loving embrace, it became a fierce trap. His grip on her waist tightened, trapped her where she was instead of simply holding her where he wanted her. The hand in her hair grabbed a section of it, enforcing his demand for her not to go anywhere. Before she knew what was happening, he left go of her hair, and pushed her to the ground. She gasped, suddenly able to breathe. He stood up and walked over to her. He placed a soft hand on her cheek, just like he used to when he was telling her how special she was to him. None of the emotion was there this time however, all she could feel radiating from his was rage. "You shouldn't have run off, babe," he said bitterly. "I was about to show you how much I loved you. Instead, I now have to show you what happens when you anger me." --- The men regarded her, before she was shoved to the ground and one produced a whip. There, laying broken on the floor, as the other girls watched, she was whipped. Slowly, she felt her skin breaking in time with her heart and her will.

Before you read the description of my book, I want to give a few quick disclaimers. The first one is that most of the chapters aren't very long, so the 60 chapters isn't as intimidating to read as it may seem. Second, my story does include the following things that some people may be uncomfortable reading. Cursing/Swearing. Violence, Sex Jokes, Homophobia, And child abuse. Specifically, Name calling, a few things thrown at the child, and scenes with violance against teens)I would give examples directly from the book that would make more sense, but I don't want to give any spoilers for future. I also wanted to say that there isn't anything like sex scenes or suicide, but this isn't for kids either. I won't be using the mature rating because it is not directly made for adults, or young kids. Again, it all depends on what you are aloud to read, or what you are comfortable with reading. Now with that out of the way, lets get to the description for the story itself. She never cared. That's what Hayden Hawksley thinks about his mother, and he wasn't wrong. After all of the years he was abandoned for Catherine's hook ups with men and bars he came to the realization that it wasn't to get money for the two of them, or to save up for something. Finally one day his mother gets tired of him being home due to his lack of friends and bullies and sends him to a Boarding school for kids in High School named: 'Emerald Boarding High'. But things go wrong when he realizes who his dorm mate his. The person he would have to spend his time with for all of High School. Jaxx Morningstar. The son of King Lucifer. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here.
