READ THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE CONTINUING YOU WILL BE CONFUSED IF YOU DON'T A few things here Pandora is more realistic and the Na'vi are more scientifically accurate which the slightly lower gravity and an active life style they are much bigger and ripped than humans. There is no tsaheylu connection to ride an animal Humans can breathe and Polyphemus is at a more appropriate distance appearing 0.33 aus from its moon in the sky. It would be about three to four times larger than the moon appears in earth's sky. You can see the sister moons however very clearly. Orbiting around a gas giant is very hard if you want to be habitable but still be considered a moon and not a seperate planet. A radiation belt exists that Pandora from the movie would fall very much into. The radiation is probably so strong on Pandora that it would destroy a human's skin. The flora and fauna stay intact but have different ways of glowing ie eywa concealed radiation inside some of them etc... I based the landscape and tree sizes off of atmosphere density and gravity making the trees appear the same size as in the movie. The Na'vi retain their language and culture along with their distaste for humans. The Humans that arrive in the section of avatar two however are much more brutal to Na'vi sympathizers than the actual Na'vi themselves. This book starts in 2028 then time jumps to when Tuk is five earth years old. This is when the space ship comes. In the year 2167 about a year before the RDA reappear, Jack will be on Pandora without the need of equipment to breathe in his human form.

Miles Quaritch failed his first mission to kill Jake Sully. Now, Bridgehead Command has a new mission for him and his surviving recoms, Wainfleet and Mansk. A mission to gather intel and make an alliance with the newly contacted Ash People, a Na'vi clan endemic to a volcanic archipelago. What's at first just orders will slowly come to change the young Colonel's life and his relationship with Pandora, his son, his enemies, and the RDA forever. Part 1 in the Avatar, A New Mission series. This large, slow-build story is essentially an Avatar 3 (with heat and flare!) through Miles Quaritch's eyes after the events of the Way of Water and continuing his parallels with Jake Sully. The story really expands to a movie-sized scope as it goes on. Features Miles' existential crisis and also flashbacks to when Spider was with the 1st Recom Unit. Recoms Lyle Wainfleet and Mansk are also greatly developed. Did my best to be logical and reasonable with the in-movies set canon, and sequel foreshadowing. There are a *few* instances of eventual smut, but there are content warnings and it is kindly written to be skippable if that's not your thing! : )
