His perfect porcelain features pulled down in a frown, his ember eyes swimming with sorrow as he stated in a voice that belonged to an angel, "When you look at me, you see HIM..." He lifted his head, locking eyes with me as he continued, "Don't you?"
I swallowed hard around the sudden lump that had formed in my throat. My heart lurched in my chest as I studied his devastatingly beautiful face-A face that was nearly identical to Cedric's. But despite their similarities, there were many differences.
"No," I whispered, shaking my head as I fought back the tears. "No, Edward. I see... YOU."
I spoke the truth. When I looked at Edward, I didn't see the face of my late friend. I saw HIM. Edward Anthony Masen Cullen- The boy with eyes of honey that shine as brightly as the sun after last night's rainfall. I see the boy that is able to make my heart dance, speeding up to a fast-paced tempo and slowing down to a peaceful cadence. The boy who looks at me like I hung the moon in the sky, who says my eyes twinkle like twin stars. I see the boy whose heart so fiercely matched my own. With Edward, I see redamancy.

"So you took a break from school?" I ask looking through the microscope, I knew Lydia said to ignore him. 'How can someone be a jackass, disappear for an entire week, and then return, and be the kindest of people, unless he was on his period.' I thought to myself, and strangely Edward started chuckling, as if he read my thoughts, but that couldn't be possible. "Yeah. I was out of town for a couple of days, due to personal reasons." He says. "Prophase." I told him, writing it down. "Do you mind if I look?" He asks, pointing at the microscope, I pushed it towards him, as he looked as well, I couldn't help, but stare, he was absolutely beautiful. "It's prophase." He says, looking back at me, making me look away, embarrassed I almost got caught. "Like I said." I mutter softly. "So are you enjoying the rain?" He asks, putting in the next slide, I looked back at him curiously. "You're seriously asking about the weather? Of all things?" I ask, I couldn't help but start wandering about what kind of person he is. "Yeah, I... I guess I am." Edward says, a smile on his face, and it made him look more handsome than he already was. "I absolutely love it, any sort of cold weather, it just makes me feel calm, and...." I trailed off, once I noticed Edward staring at me with a certain look in his eyes, but I just couldn't quite place what it was. "What? Is there something on my face?" I asks, touching my face hoping I didn't eat like a pig again, leaving food stains on my face, I hate it when that happens. "Nothing." He says, looking into the microscope once again.
