Some things are already written down for Blair and Clarke and can't be changed no matter what choice they make, that's destiny. Whereas others are also written down but can be changed depending on the decision they make, that's fate.
In this Flash Sideways story, we will see Blair and Clarke making choices other than the ones they made in Souls with Scars. These scenes are not canon to the book. There will be alternative scenes, alternative universes, and alternative endings for Blair and Clarke. Some might make you filled with joy while others might crush you.
