Things did not go according to plan. Alexis made it to Greece--barely--though at the mercy of the Greek war hero, Achilles. And she's still stuck in the ancient world. Athena has given up and no other other god is coming to Alexis' aid. To make matters worse, with each passing day, she loses pieces of herself as her role in the epic legend starts to solidify.

Meanwhile, across Greece, Paris feels the pressures of his newfound role as prince and ambassador. Unable to cope with the loss of Alexis and struggling to fit Hector's princely shoes, Paris turns to the one person who understands his plight: Helen. Sweet, beautiful Helen nurses him back to health, shows him a glimmer of hope in an otherwise insufferable situation. But there is more to Helen than meets the eye, and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Alexis' only hope is to find a way back to Paris, before he makes a decision that seals the fate of the ancient world. Along the way, Alexis discovers new allies and old allies and new dangers test her resilience and strength, pushing her to make decisions that have deadly consequences.

But try as she might, the Fates have spoken, and the great war looms closer and closer...

He dwells below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of Blest. No mortals can see his forbidden land until they pass away. Forced into marriage by her father Zeus, Persephone would resign from her fate. But when her grieving mother, Demeter, comes close to killing all the mortals, Zeus orders her back to her homeland. Given and returned against her will, Persephone takes charge of her life and eats six pomegranate seeds before leaving. Food from the underworld can't be eaten as it will tie one to the land. As her decision pushes her closer together and apart from her loved ones, Persephone's destiny turns worse. A heir that my husband so desparately wanted. When I became pregant at the age of 20, I knew that if I gave birth to my a daughter. My husband Menelaus would kill myself and the child. When the princes of Troy arrived in Sparta under the banner of peace. Hector and Paris did not know they would be walking into a trap, laid out by my husband. Paris fell in love with me, the moment he saw me. Most men did... My brother and I knew that we had to save them from the fate that Menelaus had planned. That was then I went into labor. My life and outlook changed when I gave birth to my daughter Hermoine. Both Trojan princes were willing to sacrifice themselves to rescue my daughter and I. Taking us to Troy...
