Escaping from your past isn't easy, especially when you're just a puppet in the grand scheme of things. We were young, but we never had it easy. You could say we were lucky after escaping time and time again, but our fate always brought us back. Even now, we are not what we wanted, but who we were meant to be. It's in our blood, we have no choice. We were born into something much bigger than ourselves, something that we'll never be able to fully escape from. This may appear to be an ordinary cliché story, but all those clichés give us comfort. It means that maybe one day we will have our happy ending, but that has yet to come. A normal life is impossible to reach, we know that now. We were so naive to think we could create one on our own if at all. Every day we live in fear that they'd find us. Even after travelling so far to get away, they still haunt us in our mind. We are a nurse; a thief; a persuader; and an assistant; the only family we have and need. The future is uncertain, but there's no denying our past. This is the story of how we died.

The prequel of Welcome to The Backrooms CANNON STORY (My AU) MaKaya had always been interested in the Backrooms, although her friends always called her crazy and weird for believing such a place existed, although she was always prepared to go there. MaKaya is one of the more popular students due to good grades and an amazing fashion sense, she has a pretty bubbly personality, and she's well loved throughout the campus for various reasons. By now, she was a senior and just about everybody knew her. This was also when the "Abandoned" rumor spread like wildfire due to how controversial it was, and it all revolved around the Backrooms. After that, many students wanted to try to find No-clip Zones in the school. It had gotten to the point where students were getting suspended if they tried to No-clip and were caught, this caused an increase in security. But MaKaya was finally ready to prove her friends wrong. ⚠️this is a weirdcore/dreamcore type story, so please read with caution if it may cause you to dissociate!!⚠️ A young girl and her little sister have glitched out of reality, and are now in a liminal place. The girl has been here before, and is determined to get herself and her sister out of this place. However, when she runs into old friends, she finds out that she is one of very few humans who has successfully glitched here twice (let alone by accident). Now she needs to find out if 'home' is the place she grew up in, or if she really does belong here. She needs to make some tough choices. Stay here forever and send her little sister out on her own, or leave and risk injury, even death, if she gets taken through the backrooms for a third time after arriving back 'home' to reality. Please also note that I have not created the back rooms, and a lot of the settings I have described are inspired by pictures I've seen on pinterest!

The world is dull. Our world is filled with days of work and endless boredom. A normal day could be twisted and altered when you no clip out of reality. Here you enter... The Backrooms. Roaming the endless halls searching for an exit. Miles upon miles of yellow-stained walls and shag carpet. Look upon how one ends up in the backrooms through an elevator ride. What felt like minutes continued to be hours and days... The Backrooms is a place where you land when you no clip out of reality. Over a million square metres are covered in the backrooms, escaping is tough and keeping your sanity is tougher.
