With the birth of princes Rhaenyra's first daughter, Aelerys Targaryen, the hate between the Green's and Black's stopped being that much.
The little girl was really found of her uncle, prince Aemond, and he of her, that led to the Green's and Black's to an agreement of keeping the peace, but never talk to each other, only when needed.
However, the night that Aemond claimed Vhagar and lost his eye for doing that, the agreement between their families broke, and that led to them being apart.
After 6 years, Aelerys came back in her birthplace, Kings Landing, only to find the little shy boy she once knew, now, being a tall and confident man that trains with the sword daily.
Maybe they will try and unite the families again, after all, they never stopped being friends, they just didn't see each other for a long time and it is strange to see themselves being all grown up.
Six months latter, Aelerys and Aemond decided to marry and not only try to unite and bring peace between their families again, but they did it because of the love. they develop for each other since their childhood.
And since their marriage, things have certainly changed, and their lives too.

However, if he does that it's either his plans work and be Rhaenyra's husband or she will be disinherited like him. The throne might pass to Annelyse or to the king's firstborn son, Prince Aegon. The princess wants to control her life in the way she wants it. The prince desire the crown and the Iron Throne. The Heir struggles to perform her duties and carry all the responsibilities. That didn't stop my father from loving me any less. I was trained by Ser Criston Cole, my father and all the knights best of their division. I saw the trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 and it just broke my heart how devastated Rhaenyra look. Since I know a lot of what will happen because I read the books. I decided I wanted to write them a happy ending. 😊 This is part of the Dragon's Heir universe. The Gods realize that the Targaryens are about to kill each other, especially after Lucerys's death. They have seen the way Rhaenyra's heart has harden and they want to save them from making more mistakes. The Gods decide to sent Daemon, Rhaenyra and Aemond to another world so they can see there is another path that can be followed. One that does not have to end in death and destruction. All three of them are sent to meet the Dragon's Heir and a different way of life.Complete
