Remus Lupin was a monster. A despicable, twisted being that didn't deserve life. Every month, he went through veritable hell while transforming into a werewolf. His friends loved him, but couldn't be there with him, and he had accepted this torture and suffering as his life. Until she came along.

Asteria Avery was broken. Her childhood was filled with gloom and darkness, and after being Sorted into Hufflepuff, it only got worse. She didn't want to live. She was too boring, too weak. She was ready to jump off the Astronomy Tower and end it all. Until he stopped her.
