He rolled up the sleeves of his button up, pushed back his beanie, and wiped the sweat off of his brow. He set his hands on the top of the iron blocks, when the door to the van swung open and none other than Wilbur Soot himself came down the steps. "Quackity!" He said, raising his hands in the air as if meeting an old friend for the first time in ages, "why, what do I owe the pleasure?" Quackity's eye twitched as his frown curled deeper into itself. I dip down, sensing the tension hovering between us, feeling his heart hammer against his ribcage. From where sit straddling his waist, I see his face soften at the sight of my dishevelment. "What are you so afraid of?" he whispers gently. * * * Synopsis: Behind closed doors, a casino isn't all glittering lights and card games. It's made of traitors and cheaters...
