after the battle of trihexa issei did his best to defeat the beast and albion help him but when trihexa saw albion is about to attack the beast decide to attack albion and issei saw it so he sacrifice him self in order to save vali and albion in the incoming attack.
meanwhile in the rwby universe jaune is suffering because his false transcript was leaked every student turn their back on him..his friends and his team turn their back on him. the only one who support him is ozpin alone.
