As they grew older, their friendship only deepened, but with it came a sense of something more, something unspoken yet palpable. One night day, as they walk the street with street light, Ariyah suggested a pact - a vow that would cement their friendship forever. They agreed that if either of them ever developed feelings beyond friendship, they would need to stay away, na kusa ng umiwas at pigilan ang nararamdaman at huwag nalang sabihin, to preserve their precious bond. It was a promise made in innocence, but little did they know how fragile it would prove to be. Years flew by, and their friendship remained strong. But as they entered their senior life, a shift began to occur. Ariyah found herself looking at Dwight in a different light, her heart fluttering at the sound of his laugh, she feel jealousy na alam niyang hindi dapat, her stomach tying up in knots at his touch. She tried to push these feelings away, reminding herself of their agreement and the importance of their friendship. But as the days passed, Ariyah found herself unable to resist the pull of her emotions. She realized that her love for Dwight ran deeper than she had ever admitted, and that their friendship had bloomed into something beautiful and complex. Will they come out of this challenging situation even stronger, bonded by their new love? Or will their relationship crumble under the pressure of childhood promises, turning them into distant strangers instead of the inseparable best friends they used to be?

Allison Monroe, a passionate college student of a Pre-Law course in University of the Philippines Diliman, come to believe that destiny no longer exists in our world. On the other hand, a happy-go-lucky guy which happened to be her classmate in college was amused by her beauty and brains. They started in not-a-very-good condition, because Allison hated Ryan the first time she have met him. It was love at first fight. As time passes by, the two has been playing with destiny, and started to fall for each other. But, it was not a good fairytale story to tell. Things has been complicated with the two of them, and the truth has started to unravel. There was familiarity in their warmth like they had met when they were younger. It's like they had loved each other at a different moment. At a different world. "Nothing changed. You were still the jerk I once knew, Jace," Allison uttered with full of sarcasticity. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't help but to laugh at herself for letting him fool her again. "I have no intention of fooling nor hurting you, I swear. Hear me out this time, Allison, please?" Ryan pleaded. "There's no point of hearing your stupid explanations, Ryan. You know I only seek for truth, and now that I know the truth, I can't let myself be fooled by you again." She turned her back at him. She never imagined that they could be played by Cupid twice. Love isn't all about happy endings. Sometimes, it could be tragic. But it may be tragically beautiful. And while Allison is slowly walking away from the place where Ryan is standing, she have thought of something she could do to save herself this time. She would do the first move to avoid pain. She would do the only thing she could do to not be hurt by the same guy again. She'd leave for good. On Allison's seat, she was watching the plane to take its flight to her Aunt's neighborhood, but she have mumbled last two words, "Fuck love."
