Jimin changed Mina's life when his family moved to the U.S. in middle school. He was the new Korean kid with a baby face who didn't quite fit in and Mina was the quiet girl with all the second-hand clothes who always had to spend weekends helping her mom with deliveries. When they met by chance on a delivery one day, they instantly clicked and became inseparable best friends from that point on.

Through the years, things have rarely strayed from friendship between them. Mina asked Jimin to be her first time so it would be a comfortable and safe experience with someone she trusted, but after that, they promised to go back to being strictly best friends. And they had stuck to it. But then one week in college when Jimin and Mina's separate romantic relationships both fizzle out, a drunken night changes everything and a fire is lit between them instead. When the lines of friendship begin to blur in this new heat, will something new and beautiful be forged between them, or will the flames consume their friendship and leave it in ashes?

It's crazy how fast life can change, especially when you realize you've been living a lie. But there is one person that can make the pain go away: the man you fell in love with. The only thing stopping you two? The leader of the Mafia you had been sold to. PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANY OF THIS SERIOUSLY. I WROTE IT AS A JOKE FOR MY TEACHER. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE POSSIBLY UNREALISTIC BROTHER-SISTER INTERACTIONS, I'M AN ONLY CHILD This is for you, Mr. Coburn.
