Izuku wasn't like other kids, instead of wanting to be a hero, all he wanted to do was sleep. Inko worried about her son and took him to the doctors but they found nothing wrong with him. Unlike other kids he wasn't as energetic as them and always slept through his breaks, no one had wanted to be his friend as they thought he was weird and he later on got bullied by Bakugo.
Izuku found out his quirk was shadow manipulation but he was forced into taking pills to stop him from using his quirk and no one other than him, Inko and the doctor knew of his quirk.
In middle school Izuku's life was the same as before, taking his pill after some breakfast, greeting his mother goodbye, walking to school and then get a beating by Katsuki and his lackeys. But the difference this day is that it's Izuku's last day being in middle school. He, for once, felt happy
He decided to bunk school and he was back to his emotionless tired looking self but once he turned into an alleyway he was face to face with a guy in a black hoodie with light blue hair. "Can we talk for a minute...?" the guy asked with a grin.
