Kotori's death has left these two shattered. So much that they still refuse to accept that she's gone. As the holograms of Noctapolis buzz relentlessly, they continue their act to deceive their own parents, knowing it will all come crashing down on them when the time comes. They owe their survival so far to the feelings left behind to blossom by their friend's departure. Nanaka has known Elena for a while; she had nearly lost it after losing her twin, and losing Kotori was her breaking point. Now, they only have each other to hold on to. Both has had more than enough. Even the one place where they can meet needs to be hidden. They rest there from time to time. How long, you ask? Longer. Longer than they can afford to.

Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true. At least, that was what these three teenagers thought. It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.
