"Meet Arthur. The most ordinarily dim-witted, possibly-not-fully-evolved human being to ever look upon a tree and search for a purpose in life. Quite possibly." People, also potentially his mother, might just say he is fed up. But Arthur Smith fed up with life? Absolutely."
So one day, when Arthur enters a book store with full intention of buying a dull book for his dull life (Probably a manual on how not to be dull, although we shall never know) and spies a curiously titled book, he picks it up. He then buys it, reads it, decides it can't be so simple, and goes on an adventure.
