In Fort Worth lived Hot shot Flamezer. He has just turned five years old. He lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. Hot shot loves to run jump climb and play. He is a very active little boy. Hot shot is also very happy and healthy. However shortly after his birthday he becomes very sick. One night he feels so bad his parents take him to Cook Children's hospital. Hot shot is checked into the hospital. There they do all kinds of tests. Then a couple of days later Hot shot is diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer, the most common solid tumor cancer in children and the most deadly childhood cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer. He makes friends with four other kids in the hospital with the same type of cancer.
