The world of writing, drawing, art. It's amazing, right? So many stories. Such endless possibility. So many empty pages. I know what you're thinking, Reader. Isn't this just another stupid little fairytale story? A Hero, A Villain, a noble cause and an evil plot. Clashing with epic lines and dazzling imagery, the Hero triumphs. Happily ever after. ...Right? Sometimes it isn't that simple. And sometimes, it's quiet. And closer than you'd like to think. --- This story contains strong language, abuse, mental instability, gore, murder, death, and other mature subjects. The man keeps visiting Maggie over the years. And when Margaret turns sixteen their father gives them a gift that will change their life for the better. Chp. 4 Preview: She was able to see what the paper had on it immediately after taking it from the shelf, and it made her heart immediately drop. Her blood sugar fell, and her face became pale, feeling dizzy. Her heart began racing as she saw me staring at her. The drawing she just found was a realistic depiction of myself smiling at the person who saw it. Unlike myself, who felt joy and inspiration from seeing father draw me this, mother was scared witless. Her legs became jelly, her body was paralyzed. All she could do was stare at the drawing, knowing that no one could have drawn this except an adult. And she knew I did not talk to any adults- or did I? Now she couldn't be too sure. This picture was from someone who knew how I looked, even getting the dimples on my cheeks and small birthmark on the side of my neck. It was someone that had to know me very well.
