I guess we both chose what felt like the safest option: to stay as we were. Too scared to leave our comfort zone, because they were the center of it.

She was the center of my day, from beginning to end. I got used to enjoying every ride with her, never expecting that someday we'd have our last. This trip might be our "goodbye," but I'm still hoping it's just another "see you next time."
