Haunted by echoes of the Old War, Alyx, an exile of her own clan, seeks to reclaim her honor in a world that's quick to remember blood but slow to forgive. Destiny, however, has other plans, entangling her fate with misfits and a boy thief who sees the world in riddles.

Together with a band of misfits, they must confront the tower's secrets, as well as the truths buried deep within themselves. For in a realm where magic still lingers and the past refuses to die, fate favors those who dare to defy it.
