In a panic after finding out she's pregnant, 16-year-old Lucca makes plans to stay at her grandmother's house during spring break while she figures out what to do. In that time, however, the Covid-19 pandemic closes in on California, and Lucca finds herself quarantined, along with her boyfriend, foster sisters, grandmother, and her grandmother's two teenage wards. At first the setup is fun, but it begins to spiral out of control as Lucca's plot to keep her pregnancy a secret becomes increasingly desperate, and Lucca's foster sister Gwen becomes entangled in a drug-fueled love triangle. As things get more tumultuous, Lucca is forced to decide between her sheltered childhood and an uncertain future.
