Blue is raised to become the future king's guard. She has never met the king, and she never agreed to become a guard. 
    She doesn't know anything about the world, because she has barely seen any of it.
    In the first many years of her life she will be a girl without a name or a family. 
    Until she meets eight girls, who are just like her. Then she will have both.
