But despite her appearance, Aemma was just as much a bastard as her brothers. Aemma never shared her secret, even with her brothers, especially as tensions in King's Landing ramped up.
Despite her position and being the only daughter to the heir of the Iron Throne, Aemma was no highborn lady. Aemma was outspoken, stubborn, and determined to be a fighter and dragon rider. Aemma grew up with a close bond with her dragon. The she dragon was black as night and was named Ebrior for her coloring. But Aemma's demeanor made her a constant target for the court and her step-grandmother, Queen Alicent Hightower. But Aemma knew how to stay hidden in King's Landing. Growing up in King's landing meant that one always had to be cautious, especially with snakes in green lurking around the corner.
