Hi! How'd you do? A Fateful Encounter is an original essay I wrote about 4 years ago when I was in the midst of what I believe to be my most trying time as a student. As a back story, when I wrote this piece I was in turmoil over whether to pursue my , then, course or just give it all up. That time I failed three major subjects and subsequently lost my scholarship. I have never felt more aimless and lost. The experience I wrote about in A Fateful Encounter helped me readjust my views, realign my goals, redirect my path and pick up the pieces, put them together and rebuild myself. I wish to share this with you in the hope that somehow, YOU too may find something significant in this simple experience and perhaps come up with your own insights that would hopefully inspire you in any way possible! Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... "Was it worth the cost?"
"We are all meant to die just once, but apparently, that is nothing short of a lie. A fake reality that we are taught in adolescence. When I learned that truth, I lost everything. ፈᏗᏁᏗᏒᎩ When you calmed my mind, you changed me and took the last thing from me that I had. Now I am alone in this world a victim of its unending cruelty. All of you will learn that. When you do you will wish that you treated me better while you had the chance, " This is not a romance novel. Do not think this is a romance novel. The sequel is thought. There will be gore rape torture and what is worse. Also, I make stories by writing the story plot and everything, and rewriting it to fit in the small details. The chapters all the final ones but the story itself has been finished.

She moved with a certain thoughtfulness about her. Every step was placed gently. Looking back, I should have seen it coming. Paige didn’t like that I went so far away to university. But it was going to only be for two years. She'd join me after she did her two years at community college. I thought we could swing that no problem. We were solid. But she hated the distance. She hated not seeing me every day. She complained that I didn’t come home enough. She hated that for months on end, texting and phone calls were our only form of communication. It wasn’t enough. She'd ask about the girls on campus. She’d gotten it into her head that girls were always making a play for me. I laughed and told her, even if that were true, I’d never cheat on her. She didn't seem completely reassured by that. The bottom line is, Paige thought she was losing me. She wanted me home with her. But I could never imagine the level she'd sink to—the trap she’d set to make that happen.
