How similar would their life be? How different would their's be?
Jace is an unfortunate individual who gets the opportunity to answer these questions firsthand.
Thrown into a new, dangerous world, Jace has to face the monstrosities set before him in order to survive to see another day. With death looming over his head, his only hope is to rely on whatever his parallel self has left him.
In a parallel universe set 5 years in the future, can Jace trust his own knowledge and interpretation of his future self to keep himself afloat?

Kayla Madison is a normal-ish sixteen-year old whose main desire is simple-make it through high school without embarrassing herself too much in the process. It doesn't help that she's being followed by dark figures no one else sees. When a man with incredible speed, unbelievable power, strange old-fashion clothes, and an obnoxious personality threatens her life, she discovers she is a rare "two-worlder" -a person with one parent from Earth and the other from Earth Prime. She escapes another attack by jumping through a portal to the alternate dimension, much to the chagrin of her protector. As if managing without electricity, cars, and phones on the more Edwardian world weren't enough stress; she finally meets her long-absent father, a scientist in the top-secret field of Trans-Dimensional Travel. In the beginning, our universe was dark and cold, with no life. Until the creator of the outerverse, Nova, breathed life into existence, bringing balance into all universes. Jace is a drug addicted, suicidal, depressed young adult. His whole life has been nothing but abuse, hatred, and loneliness. After an attempt at ending his life, he's faced with a long challenge over overcoming the addiction, and recreating himself. In the process, somehow he's losing the people he loves the most, all for one guy. Is the guy worth it, is this the love he has always dreamt of? Or is the person he's recreating himself to be just a dick, who thinks he's better than everyone else? Jace's story is not a pretty one, and its more real than most. Watch how he grows, makes decisions, and mistakes, and at the end, find out if it was worth it or not. He has loved, lost, gained, and walked away from some of the biggest things in life. What ties us to the Earth? What is life after death? Why do we continue to live in a world full of broken promises and empty smiles? Jace Abney has been wondering this for all of his life.
