Laila Filali has always had a plan for her life. At 22 years old, she's just about to graduate from college and move on to law school. She'll become successful, have a family, and live a content life like so many other humans. 

But something's missing. 

When Laila discovers a hidden artifact among her deceased mother's belongings after more than a decade, nightmares and dreams of faraway places with castles, battles, and magic she thought were long gone return. Her dreams spark a burning desire for a new life filled with fantasy and enchantment. When a handsome stranger appears with the answers to all of her questions and an incredulous proposition, she must decide whether to abandon everything she knows and everyone she loves for a chance at the life she's always wanted.
