When Natalie loses her Best Friend, Drake, due to Tuberculosis, she must learn to forget. Nat faces the reality of his loss harshly, until her mom insists she goes to a support group that have people grieving like her and others that were through her situation so she can learn to cope. Her mother's fear that she might get a depression was the reason Nat had met Brian.
18 year-old Brian has nothing to worry about, or at least, that's what he shows. Brian was at the support group that Natalie was in, only he had learned to cope and was trying to help others. When he first sees Natalie, he can see the refection of his past in it. Still, over coming the shock is different than over coming the event, for Brian, he is only half way there. Though, Brian decides to help Natalie, but without revealing his story. Will he be able to help Nat before she drowns, or will he drown and take her further?
