"Violet," Harry said like he was trying to convince himself not to panic. "Where did that letter to the school say the platform was?"
"They said the entrance was between platforms nine and ten," said Violet.
"Right," said Harry as if things could not go more wrong. "I think, we might earn ourselves a place in that 'Guinness World Records' book they had at primary school for the first ever people to lose an entire train platform."
Violet, while she shared her cousin's panic, did not appreciate the sass. They were not the first people raised by Muggles to be accepted into Hogwarts, there must be some method to the madness, she just had to think. They had time, there was still at least twenty minutes until the train was due to leave. They could do this.
"Maybe," Harry winced, "maybe we could ask someone?"
"And what'll we ask them exactly Harry, excuse me, do you know about any trains going off to magic school?"

Mr and Mrs Dursley were quite happy to say that they were perfectly normal in every way. That was, until Mrs Dursley's sister and brother-in-law died and left their son, Harry Potter, to be raised by them.
Nevertheless, they took the boy in and swore that they would make a normal person out of him yet, despite what his genetics may suggest.

Struggling to adhere to her parents' philosophy that woman must be seen and not heard, Violet Evans-Dursley is dreading being sent off to Finishing School for Girls. Eleven years old, and only slightly disillusioned by the way her family is turning out, Violet is all too surprised when she and her wretch of a cousin receive their first ever letters in the mail. The contents of which, just so happen to be summoning them to attend their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Sceptical, Violet must leave behind all that she knows and venture forth into the wider (and possibly magical) world and make something of herself instead of letting others do it for her.

As the new school year began at Hogwarts, the platform at King's Cross buzzed with energy. Students eagerly pushed their trolleys through the barrier to reach Platform 9 ¾, their excited chatter filling the air with anticipation of what the year ahead would hold. Onboard the Hogwarts Express, conversations swirled about the mysteries and adventures awaiting them at the castle. Among the eager students was Y/N, who, in her third year, would encounter Harry Potter-the boy everyone whispered about, the one they called the Chosen One.
Little did Y/N know that her life was about to change in ways she could never have imagined. Danger, excitement, and heartbreak loomed on the horizon as she found herself drawn into Harry's world-a world she once believed had no bearing on her own. But fate had other plans. The prophecy spoke not of one survivor from that fateful night with the Dark Lord, but two. Unbeknownst to them, their destinies had been entwined since that night, and this year would see the unraveling of a journey that would forever alter both their lives.
