In a small town a girl named Lake befriends a small siren boy who she called miguel.The human and the siren always wanted eachother and never left eachother when possible. But that was 18 years ago and now feels like a distant memory of the sea. She returns to the small town she grew up in and gets a lot of nostalgia. But is the siren going to remember her, is he still the kind creature she knew and will a love rise from the deeper ocean. Or will they be separated by the evil people that want to take miguel away.

It was, as the challenge goes, written in the span of one month. As such it has not been well revised and is less than ideal. It is likely not fleshed out properly, as when I wrote it I was merely sticking to a story and a timeline so that I could finish in time. Sirens in this world do not drown humans.
