This story is about a mermaid name Gemma and a human name William, they are best friends. Yet, The only issue is that she hasn't told him she is a mermaid. At the same time she is having nightmares about her parents that were not only captured but, also put in cages and experimented on. Night after night the dreams get more wicked and intense . She can hear their cries for help and in order to stop the nightmares she has to go on the search of a lifetime to look for them, against their own orders. She knows she will need help on her mission, so she has to find a way to ask the only one she trust (William) to help save her parents.
