[New Chapters Monthly] A Cursed Devourerer. A King of Light. One Destined for Salvation, The Other Sacrifice. *** Helena is the last of her kind, born to an immortal race of beings. Her Ilk was conceived from the Harmonious Union of the first god and goddess, Mother Void and Father Life. Born from Chaos, the Harmonious could consume the flesh of gods. Fearing all of creation's destruction, the youngest twelve gods and goddesses betrayed the Mother and Father. In an act that spilled blood from the stars, every last child of the Harmonious Union was slaughtered. Her spirit now captured and enslaved by the White Pantheon, Helena knows existence only by what it lacks. Starving, exhausted, and formless; Helena is devoid of life. Centuries pass in torment until the appearance of a mysterious and powerful benefactor rips her away from formless darkness. The being claims the title Lord of the Black, and though he appears as a man, it soon becomes clear he is no servant of the Twelve. Thrust into a new body, Helena wakes as a duel-entity; the ravenous nature of her original consciousness now a nearly uncontrollable force of power. One that potentially possess it's own, separate will. Her mind now transformed, Helena beings to develop the desire to exist as her new self forever. Peace is elusive, however, as the past quickly begins to unravel its twisted roots. An old enemy rears his many heads, threatening the delicate threads of life Helena has just begun to weave. Lies, religious corruption, and a betrayal begin to dig twisted vines into the blossoming love between them. The struggle of overcoming her nature threatens to undo all that Helena has been gifted. Lord Black is hiding his true nature, strange dreams and visions tormenting Helena with the possible truth of his nature. As Helena begins to find a place in her new life, her very existence promises death for creatures she has learned to love.

They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.
