Adeline moves to her grandfathers farm, Sunshine and Shadow Acres. A farm she visited every summer until she turned seven, but much has changed since those simple days. With a dark past and fear lurking around every corner, Adeline makes an effort to stay safe and hidden in her new home. She rekindles her childhood friendships and embarks on the journey of building up her grandfathers once magnificent farm.
What happens when those childhood friends start to become something more? Will Adeline's past come back to haunt her? How many animals will she end up with? (because I'm an insane person and can't have this many myself)

So, I wrote this for myself, not expecting anyone else would ever read it. I needed it, so I wrote it. When I was done I figured maybe someone else might need it, too, so here it is. The beginning might feel heavy or boring, but please hang in there because just like life - the good stuff comes out of the dark stuff. Grace vowed to herself that she would rid herself of the broken, predictable life she had somehow fallen into and in its place, she would create a new life, one that truly fed her wanting soul. Life on Sandy farm
This story is somewhat based off of my farmer "Willow", when they moved into Stardew Valley with their mother, and younger brother ("M" (mom) and "B" (bro)). They (Willow) wanted to move out of the city to get away from them, but... They didn't have much of a say when it came to them (The family) coming along... They wanted to get out of the city as well, and their grandfather's letter was the only way to do it at the time... (Do I always just take whatever stories I happen to have in my head and dump them into Google Docs? YES! Is this why my stories usually seem to make no sense? Double YES!) (WARNING! Slight mentions of blood in chapter 4.) (There's a lot of POV changes in this story.) (A little info about farmer Willow: They have selective mutism and social anxiety, and they're only able to talk to people if they know 100% that they can trust them. This is why they can usually only be seen talking to their mom and brother. they're not very fond of them sometimes, but they're able to let their guard down around them... Most of the time.) (There's not really much to be said about M and B. They're just kinda... There.) (The story kinda 'slowly' starts to become Seb x Farmer as it goes along... So, that's a thing.) (Edit: It is VERY... She thought her only worries were going to be taking care of her ailing grandmother, not learning how to fly a broom. Not only will she have to traverse through the halls of Hogwarts, but she will also have to navigate her new life filled with Ancient Magic, budding friendships, and an insufferable Slytherin named Sebastian Sallow. If you told Sebastian Sallow that his semester would start with a failed duel on his part, he would have called you a liar. Yet, here he was, named second-best by the hands of a new student, someone who could hardly hold their wand correctly. He thought his biggest worries this year were going to be discovering what happened to his parents, but now he also must fight for his title as best duelist back from an incompetent Hufflepuff named Adelia Miltin. ------- This is a slow burn Sebastian x fMC fic that will explore life before the curse and develop characters and relationships. This may be a slow read with a few episodic chapters since I want the reader to feel like they are going to school with the characters. There will be plenty of fluff in the beginning and angst in later chapters. While the fic does follow the main storyline from the game, I have added/removed/changed events/characters to suit my story. Please read the warnings and rights BEFORE starting this story!
