In the glowing City of Neon, technology reigns supreme. The human race has advanced so far that many things have become forgotten, like Cancers, diseases, and even the true concept of Humanity itself. The streets are ruthless as the corporates suppress the lesser fortunate, only making exceptions for cheap work. Everything has a price, and that's why the only way to insure success is by doing whatever it takes by any means necessary. Reaching the heavenly top is everyone's goal, and many are willing to step on heads to get there. It's a merciless world out there... But a rising underdog and a cyber goth babe end up an unlikely pair to aid each other in their struggle. The two end up on the wrong job, and well... Shit hits the fan.

This is a mature rated story that sometimes discusses heavy tones of violence, gore, mutilation, sexual nature, and more of the same caliber. If you are uncomfortable with many of these certain topics, please read at your own risk. 

This is a completely original story INSPIRED by the wonderous world of Cyberpunk 2077. I'd like for it to be dually noted that THIS IS NOT by any means an adaptation, fanfiction, or alternative of the 2077 video game or lore. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Controlling CEOs, sensitive boyfriend, an obssessed boss is just the tip of the iceberg. And I'm not even touching the problems at her school. Will all this unwanted attention put her in trouble?
