This story begins with Lana Scott.
Lana has always been able to read minds. It's just been that way for as long as she can remember. She doesn't know why, or how. Of course, nobody is aware of her special ability. Lana uses her gift to assist her in her work area, as a detective. What better job to have when you have such a useful ability? But when suddenly, there are outbursts and crimes that cannot be explained nor done by a simple human, Lana begins to wonder if there are more people out there with the same gifts as her.
