The Moon's Gift

Moon Lake Pack is destroyed. Only two people survived Gamma Rocke and Alpha Conner's two month old baby girl. Before Alpha Conner handed his Gamma his heir and daughter, he wrote a simple note that included Celeste's name, date of birth, and time of birth, along with the following sentence. "She must be protected."

That simple note should have told Alpha Marcus of Silver Moon all he needed to know about the infant placed in his care, but Alpha Marcus's pack had slipped away from Old Law. He didn't keep up on the handed down prophecies.
