(Y/N) and James Potter were "enemies". Not pure hatred real enemies but the sort that have constant banter and teasing. The dynamic (Y/N) and James have is competition and petty arguments. For whatever reason, he just seemed to love annoying her and she loved to annoy him right back.
    
    The girl enjoys messing around with him. Even if he thinks otherwise, she'll never admit out loud however, having him around definitely improves her day. James thinks the same way, and also would never admit it out loud. Unsurprisingly to their friends the boy has a major crush on (Y/N).

    "Why me?" James' face is right next to hers as he smiles warmly. "Why did you say yes to my date?" It's a serious question, he genuinely is wondering. He can't imagine why she'd choose him when she could have anyone she wanted, especially since all they've done throughout their Hogwarts years was bickering at one another.
    
    "Even though we constantly bicker and tease each other I ended up falling for you." She admits blushing. "Even with your flirting mishap you still made me fall for you." Laughing she stares at him while still blushing. James chuckles and wraps his arms around her tighter, putting his chin on her shoulder. "So that flirting mishap, it didn't dissuade you from wanting to go out with me?" James says with a grin. "Not really." She replies playfully. "In fact, I'm looking forward to more dates." (Y/N) let out a small laugh before looking towards James.
