When dead demigods started walking back into camp no one was really upset.
Then Luke Castellan came back.
The boy is being watched like a hawk. From having a 24/7 guard (to be sure he doesn't betray anyone) to having Artemis on his back for stealing her lieutenant.
Now mortals are coming back too.
Hades and Thanatos aren't sure what is happening but they agree something bigger is at work.
But they need to figure out what in order to stop it. Because it has a bigger plan in mind.

Thalia was the only living child of Zeus, the god of thunder, and Luke was a son of Hermes, the messenger of the gods. Being half bloods gives us a strong scent. A scent that attracts bloodthirsty monsters at every turn. We run because if we ever stop, they'll catch us and kill us. We run because there's no other options. Nowhere for people like us.
