Before leaving for college, April spends her summer break in California at her grandmothers beach house. There she meets Jacob, her brothers best friend, and a guy she can't stand. She finds him obnoxious, full of himself, and annoying. Follow their journey from hate to love and see how their hatred blossoms into friendship, and something much deeper, love. They bicker and argue and find themselves in situations were they end up leaning on one another for help. The two find themselves drawn to each other, and due to a confusion they soon part ways, to only meet again after 7 years. How much has changed in those 7 years? Will they find their way back to each other? What caused them to drift apart? You can read all this in the upcoming chapters! Hope you enjoy this story, as much as I have enjoyed writing this. I love romance, and this story is a special one for me! *Ongoing*

Summers are supposed to be that time of the year that you should look forward to. No school, hours at the beach, late night parties. What's not to love? Three words. My neighbor's grandson. For once in her life, Maliah Arias is looking forward to her summer. It's the summer before senior year and life couldn't be better. She has a hot college boyfriend, plenty of Dl soccer scholarship offers, and she just went through a massive glow up. To make matters better, her neighbor's annoying yet very hot grandson, Jackson Cruz, who usually visits every summer, is away in Europe. When circumstances change, Maliah finds herself once again in the presence of Jackson, who seems hell-bent on making her life miserable. Although as time passes, the two of them find themselves growing closer and closer, whether they like it or not. Tears are shed, hearts are broken, and Maliah finds herself wondering if she'll be able to survive the summer and make it to senior year.
