(This takes place after crystalized) (I count Uncharted as a season so that's why it's 17) When the ninja defeat the Overlord along with help from all of Ninjago, they are finally at peace. As they help to clean up the mess, they hear of rumors, saying that there is a new darkness from the Dark Island that they have not been to in years. They decide to go alone, without Master Wu, P.I.X.A.L, or anyone. When they get there, they soon realize that it was more serious than they thought. The island was blocked off, and as the ninja realized that they were going to have to fight harder than ever before when they meet the princess, daughter of the Overlord. She and her army steal the ninja's powers and lock them up. The ninja try to escape, but have bigger issues when Lloyd's oni form starts to hurt his health. Disclaimer: I do not own Ninjago or any of its characters. This story is based on the Lego Ninjago TV series, specifically season 16 Crystalized. It takes place in an alternate universe during the final battle in Ninjago Crystalized and describes what would happen if the creators of Ninjago had went with their original script for Crystalized. I will be trying to describe the events that might have happened if Lloyd looked right instead of left, becoming overrun by darkness. Will he learn to control the Oni side of himself? Or will he be controlled by the darkness inside? Think of each Chapter as an episode, I did my best to make it realistic and descriptive enough to be an episode.
