The Karasuno volleyball team decided that their new manager was an enigma. Shoyo positively radiated joy, yet carried the weight of years worth of trauma. He was adopted, but not an orphan. He was beautiful, but sometimes, utterly terrifying. He had a deep love for volleyball, yet had never touched a volleyball in his life. He was many things. A son, a friend, a lover, a brother, but most importantly, he was a survivor.
And now that he's gotten a taste of how rich living could be, he wouldn't let anything stand in his way of experiencing everything life had to offer.

The volleyball team left, leaving Ukai and Takeda waiting for the girl to be picked up by her aunt after they call a number on her bag. Ukai can't help but feels a tinge of familiarity while looking at the young girl. And when he sees the girl's aunt, he couldn't help but wonder, because the aunt is the sister of someone he knew from the past. Ukai: who... is her mother? The truth will raise as sweet and painful things will be seen by Ukai after meeting the girl with the same eye color as he is.
