Tess Rovia isn't doing so well as she may be nearing the end of her long and struggling life. She just can't seem to function without her twin brother and best friend no longer around, due to being killed at the hands of the Whisperers.
She just can't seem to get a grip on things while having hate in her heart and red clouding her vision, ready to strike at any moment. She is a rapid snake on the loose and out for everyone's blood.
If she isn't careful, she will fall victim to death... Either by herself or by someone else. She has to figure out what she finally wants and what she is going to do to get it.
Meanwhile, Mollie Rovia is trying to piece her life back together after losing everyone that she has ever cared about in one swift motion. Just like her mother, she isn't too good with dealing with all the deaths around here now. She can't seem to put her once peaceful life back together again, and it's going to take EVERYTHING to put it all back together again.

However, when the enemy that is Negan and his Saviors start to become out of hand, Tess and Paul quickly align themselves with the Alexandrians. Together, they fight Negan and his group of reckless killers while still having to fear the dead as well. Along the way, Tess will find her ultimate purpose in life when making the Alexandrians into her new family and top priority, too. Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most.
